It was a sad and half rainy / half snowy winter day at Columbia State Park. One of those days where it was maybe better to be locked in a cell in that jail than to face the elements! Maybe not...

Light Show at the Conservatory of Flowers

I wish I knew how to paint. And so when I see an inspiring scene, I try to "paint" it with my camera.
Tonight was the rehearsal for Illuminate's Conservatory of Flowers Grand Lighting. I like the contrast between the red lights and the dark trees and muted sky, and the impressionistic feel of the camera movement. With a touch of exoticism maybe?

Dark Corner

One of the back rooms in the old Oakland 16th Street station. More light revealed that the walls were actually bloody red. Good thing I was not alone in there.
